We just ate our way through Italy, trying chefs and their cookbooks throughout Tuscany, Naples and the Veneto, and this was our favorite. Enrica makes it simple but delicious, so you aren't scared off from cooking the way she does -- great ingredients, "putting your finger in to taste things -- a cook should always taste with her fingers!" -- and making the presentation beautiful. excellent book with extremely authentic and simple recipes---I only wish we had the type of seafood that Enrica has available to her in Venice!The icing on the cake is that we have a private class scheduled with Enrica in October and will surely have her autograph my copy---VERY EXCITED!! I would definitely buy this book if you've ever been to Venice or hope to go---book is worth every penny--even if you don't cook, the pictures alone are gorgeous and worth the price of admission!!
